Laurie, Casey, Mom and I took a much needed, and very well deserved night out!!! Just us!!! We had dinner at Bonefish (d e l i c i o u s!!!) Then headed to the Big Easy to hear some jams from the one and only Scott Daniels!!! I was pretty frickin useless ALL day sunday!! But it was well worth it!!!

New Job and Holy Moly I Met Steve Holy!!!! Saturday, August, 25, 2007

Soooooo…… I GOT A NEW JOB!!!! I was offered a position with Citadel Broadcasting to be the new on air morning show producer for 99.1 KXKC. Some of you might remember that I did the blind date with them in November of last year…. and I have been so graciously asked to be on the show with them. It is a really great oppurtunity and right up my alley!! It has been such a blast hanging out with them the last year…. can’t wait to see how it goes!! Wish me luck!! And tune in 6-10 Monday thru Friday mornings!!!

2 Weeks ago KXKC did a promo for Country Super star, Steve Holy. He was promoting his latest CD. A few of his past hits are “Good Morning Beautiful” and “I Got A Brand New Girlfriend”. It was held at the new WOW Wingery, which is the old Luthers BBQ building. They put on a great show and were a blast to hang out with! Here are a few pics from the night! Enjoy…..

Well….. we just got back from our annual family vaca….. And boy was it well needed!!  We did a whole lot of absolutely nothing and enjoyed every second of it!!! I am already ready to go back….tear…..

So last night was another one of our “hey we want to try and have girls night once a month, but its really more like 3 months” nights. But…. only the fab 4 made it out of everyone…. One of my very best friends moved to Houston last month for a job. So OF COARSE I had to go and stay for a few……. It was a very relaxing weekend, shopped too much, ate too much, drank too much, and played way way to much Guitar Hero!!! But had such a blast!!! Miss you smelly kelly!!!

 Last weekend was just an ABSOLUTE blast. Lafayette Linked hosted a fundraiser to help sponsor the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana. The theme of the shindig was THE PROM, not just any prom, but the 80’s prom. And oh my gosh we had a kick ass time!!!! Linds and I went to Goodwill/EBAY/Old Vogue like 5.8 million times!!!! So much fun….. ready to do it all over again…..
